I thought it would be fun to have an Inspirational Lady of the Month. This is a woman who has been a source of inspiration for me creatively.
So congrats to the first Inspirational Lady, the wonderful Miss Sarah Hackwith! Sarah is a dance major at TCU and is one talented and stylish lady.
She perfectly executes one of my fave trends: nudes/neutrals
Sarah is a fellow fashion lover, so I asked her to list her current fashion obsessions. The following list will definitely inspire y’all. (I sure got the shopping bug after reading it!)
- skinny vintage belts in every color/pattern imaginable
- Fair Isle patterned and chunky cable knit sweaters (oversized!)
- Classic button ups – in bold colors, interesting plaids, silky fabrics, or all of the above
- Color. I’m really feeling emerald green for this fall, as well as fuschia and mustard gold. Mixed with neutrals and other bright colors, or…
- Denims of every wash – dark, stonewashed, indigo, you name it
- Equestrian-inspired riding boots
- Oversized scarves
- Glamorous jewelry that sparkles
- All of the above, all mixed together. I feel like this season is all about mixing and half-matching, whether that be within color schemes, textures, patterns, styles, etc. Fashion has come around and is now forming its own identity by taking all of the best fashion trends from the past and making them modern. I’m loving that!
