Real Life Look for Less

Even though I am a great lover of fashion and all its expensive designer brands, I’m also a recent college grad and soon-to-be law student who can’t afford the expensive duds you see in all the glossy magazines. So I bargain shop. I’ve received a lot of compliments lately on pieces I’ve bought at Target that are comparable to more elite brands. Think Pink

I realize this is two color posts in a row, but I can’t get over my brights obsession. Who knew that hot pink would look good on anyone besides my Barbie? But I love the pops of this bright hue that I’ve been seeing. It’s the perfect way to liven up your winter wardrobe.

So Boot-iful

Riding boots are the ultimate preppy wardrobe staple. They always look polished and put-together, whether you’re trudging to class in leggings and an over-sized t-shirt or hitting the town in skinny jeans and a blazer. I cannot wait to try the new trend of knit leg warmers worn over tights with riding boots. (If only the Texas weather would cooperate and cool off already!)

I would die for a pair of these amazing Tory Burch riding boots. They would be perfect with the leg warmers and tights look.

I found some cute, cheap leg warmers online at Wet Seat (surprising, I know). They would be a great way to try out this trend, costing only $7.50.
