Riding boots are the ultimate preppy wardrobe staple. They always look polished and put-together, whether you’re trudging to class in leggings and an over-sized t-shirt or hitting the town in skinny jeans and a blazer. I would die for a pair of these amazing Tory Burch riding boots. They would be perfect with the leg warmers and tights look.

At my sorority chapter meeting tonight a recent TCU graduate came in to talk to us about a great company she is working for that is all about giving back to the community. The business is called WORN for Peace, and it works with Catholic Charities of Fort Worth to help local refugees. WORN employs women refugees to hand-knit beautiful scarves, with 100% of the proceeds going to Catholic Charities to assist other refugees. It’s a great company that produces quality products for a good cause.

Here are some of their scarves (all photos taken from http://www.wornforpeace.com).

The "Always" bow scarf ($68)

"Color block infinity" scarf ($88)

"Everlasting" scarf ($118)
